If you were elected the Malaysian PM tomorrow,, what are some of the things that you will do??
If I was in that situation, I would:-
1.) Immediately launch an enquiry to find out who have actually benefited from building the sports complex in London
2.) Stop the monsoon cup. This yacht racing crap is a waste of money. It is just a rich boys toy and bring little benefit to the country. The same goes for the F1 and the Motor GP. Maybe scrap the motor GP.
3.) All police to get a 30% pay increase. Traffic polis must book at least 25 motorist a week for "real" traffic offences. Other polis must work to a quota in arresting criminals or assisting in the prevention of crime. Some sort of report card system will be introduce. Further promotion and pay increases will depend on performance. The police must be very well paid.
4.) No more Malaysian space tourist.
5.) No more new mosque. Malaysian already have enough square feet of mosque per believer. 6.) Separate religion from State.
7.) Model ICAC after the Singapore & Hong Kong model. They need wide powers and well paid and quality staff.
8.) Any Minister or Public servant caught misbehaving will be sacked and charged.
9.) All Government works to be tendered in a transparent process.
10.) Make fines smaller to discourage the police from taking bribe
11.) Lower down the inflation instead keep increase the wages. Increase wages only benefit the working class people. The retiree will suffer the most.
12.) Invest for better public transportation and minimize CO2.
13.) Promote those cat that can catch the rat without considering the color, breed, sex
